• Italy
  • Whenever we are put in an unfamiliar situation with unfamiliar people, we make a barrier between the environment and ourselves. As we spend time with the people, we become more comfortable. That barrier we put up starts to break down. If we are lucky, it completely falls away. This whole experience is something that everyone goes through at some point in their lives, sometimes with very unexpected people. I am fortunate to say that it happened while on this Italy trip – on day number seven. I am fortunate to say that the people on the trip became a kind of family and that I was part of it.
